Terra Nova, Pernambuco

Terra Nova (New Land) is a city in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco, 572 km away from the state's capital, Recife. The population in 2009, according with IBGE was 9.801 inhabitants[1] and the total area is 360.86 km².

The main economic activities in Terra Nova are based in agribusiness, especially creation of goats, sheeps, cattle, pigs, chickens; and plantations of onions, tomatoes and rice.
