Since Terminal 1 has a bus terminal connected, shoppers can reach by bus services. It has 1,400 parking bays and 70 bus bays. Terminal 1 project was carried out on a joint venture basis in 1993, the 40,000 sq metres of space at the terminal.[1]

Terminal 1 is undergoing a facelift with older tenants removed and new tenants moving in. Recent incidents including the abduction of a child in the mall and the lack of CCTV facility has caused regular shoppers to avoid visiting the mall.
