Teri Takai

Teri M. Takai is the acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Networks and Information Integration and the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the United States Department of Defense.^[1]^[2]

Takai graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a Master's in Management. She served as Chief Information Officer for State of California, and as a member of the Governor of California's cabinet; also as Director of the Michigan Department of Information Technology and as the State of Michigan's CIO.^[3]
