The simple-station Tercer Milenio is part of the TransMilenio mass-transit system of Bogotá, Colombia, opened in the year 2000.
Location
The station is located in downtown Bogotá, specifically at Avenida Caracas and Calle 6.
History
On December 17, 2000, the TransMilenio system opened from Portal de la 80 to Tercer Milenio, which was so named for the park of the same name, located to the east of the station.
It serves the Estanzuela, Santa Inés, San Bernardo, and Eduardo Santos neighborhoods.
