Tendrils
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Not to be confused with Tendril.
Tendrils is an irregular collaboration between noted Australian guitarists, Joel Silbersher and Charlie Owen. A difficult sound to describe, Tendrils features two seemingly chaotic but strangely melodic and complementary, guitar parts and occasionally stripped back percussion.
Starting out billed simply as Joel Silbersher and Charlie Owen and the album titled Tendrils, for the release of the second album, the two took Tendrils for the band name and called the album Soaking Red. Soaking Red was nominated for an ARIA award for Best Alternative Release in 1999.[1]
