The Temple Owls baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.[1] The team is a member of the American Athletic Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. Temple's first baseball team was fielded in 1927. The team plays its home games at Skip Wilson Field, 580 Meetinghouse Road, Ambler, Pennsylvania. The Owls are currently coached by Ryan Wheeler.
On December 6, 2013, Temple announced that it would cut seven sports, including baseball, at the end of the 2013–14 academic year for financial reasons.[2]
