TelevisionWeek is a trade magazine delivering news, analysis and data on television and media. It was founded in 1982 as Electronic Media. It is currently owned by Crain Communications Inc.. The current editor is Greg Baumann. The corporate and circulation departments are based at Crain's headquarters in Detroit, Michigan. However, the editorial department is based in Los Angeles, California.
In addition, TelevisionWeek provides coverage of other entertainment and media technologies as they continue to emerge, including broadband, On Demand, viral video and HDTV.
Content
The content of TelevisionWeek currently appears in a weekly print magazine and on many electronic platforms, including a website, daily e-mail newsletters, blogs, and video.
The print edition of TelelvisonWeek is a glossy newspaper published weekly and delivered nationally and internationally, with broad coverage of television and digital media including industry news, analysis, technology, and ratings from Nielsen Media Research. The print magazine stopped publication at the end of May 2009 but continues as an online publication.

The magazine's website, TVWeek.com, features a number of blogs, some are created by the publication's editors, others, such as Access Hollywood Confidential, by Access Hollywood producer Rob Silverstein, are created by members of the television community. Video media
In 2007, TelevisonWeek launched WebVideoReport, a Crain Communications publication aimed at web video creators and the practice of generating revenue and marketing goods and services in the emerging market. It combines daily news on the web video industry, case studies on companies that are exploring the medium, and how-to articles from industry leaders that lay out the nuts and bolts of creating, distributing, and monetizing web video.

The editorial department of TelevisionWeek is based in Los Angeles, California. Its parent company, Detroit-based Crain Communications, is a privately held publishing company with more than 30 magazines, including Advertising Age, Creativity, Crain's New York Business, Crain's Chicago Business, Crain's Detroit Business, Crain's Cleveland Business, and Automotive News. The corporate and circulation departments of TelevisionWeek, as with all of the Crain publications, are based at Crain's headquarters in downtown Detroit.
