The Tekirdağ Province (Turkish: Tekirdağ ili , pronounced [teˈkiɾdaː]) is in Trakya (Thrace), the northwestern part of Turkey. The capital city is Tekirdağ. It is famous for its meatball called "Tekirdağ köfte" and the Turkish alcoholic drink called Tekirdağ rakısı.
