Tekin Akmansoy (20 January 1924 – 12 February 2013) was a Turkish stage, television and film actor and theatre director. He was mostly known for his role as Nuri Kantar on "Kaynanalar" TV series and its remakes.[1]
Tekin Akmansoy was born in Sarayköy, Denizli. He started his acting career at Halkevi when he was 17. After graduating from Ankara Atatürk High School in 1942, he was admitted to Ankara State Conservatory. He graduated from Conservatory and started to work in Ankara State Theatre in 1947.[2]
He received the title of "State Artist" in 1998.[3]
Tekin Akmansoy died in Memorial Hospital, Şişli, İstanbul on 12 February 2013.[2]
