Teka is an industrial group founded 90 years ago. The business areas range from domestic and professional equipment for kitchens and bathrooms, stainless steel storage containers to beverage kegs. The diversification is backed by ongoing investment, and research and development.[citation needed]

History

Founded in Germany in 1924, Teka is an multinational industrial group based in Europe. The business divisions is focused on the manufacture and marketing of kitchen, bathroom, vitrified and industrial containers. It is a European reference in sinks, hoods, hobs and ovens and is a world leader in the production of beer kegs.[citation needed] The Group has 17 manufacturing facilities in Europe, America and Asia. It markets its products in more than 100 countries and employs 4,500 employees worldwide.[1]

Martin Beck is the Group CEO for its kitchen and bathroom divisions. Arturo Baldasano is Vice President of Teka Industrial.

Global Business

Teka Industrial SA is the head of the multinational. Since its foundation in 1964 its production has focused on the manufacture of stainless steel sinks and stoves, ovens and hoods mainly. From the beginning Teka has chosen to integrate the appliances in the kitchen furniture, a practice known as recess.[citation needed]

The Group facilities in Santander (Spain), Mexico and Portugal are engaged in the manufacture of sinks. Teka Industrial production has other centers in Turkey, Germany and Spain, engaged in manufacturing of ovens.

Teka Sanitary Systems, based in Binissalem, Mallorca. The company is engaged in the manufacture and sale of bathroom and kitchen faucets for domestic or industrial.

Vitrogar based in Zaragoza makes both ceramic coatings as ceramic hobs ovens. In recent years it has become one of the most important European suppliers in the manufacture of vitrified for thermal cooling.

Portinox based in the province of Granada, is the Group company that produces and sells mainly beverage containers. It has also production facilities in Mexico.
