Tefu Mashamaite (born 27 September 1984 in Bochum, Limpopo) is a South African football (soccer) player who plays as a defender for Kaizer Chiefs in the Premier Soccer League[1] and South Africa.

Early Life

Mashamaite was born as his mother's only child, he only met his father when he was 10 years old. He saw him six times before he passed away in 2010.[2]

Personal Life

He has a son Phetolo Nkosana (born 2010). He has a BA in International Relations and Politics at Wits University. His nephew plays for the Orlando Pirates youth academy.[3]
