TechTree is a technology website based in Mumbai, India. The website publishes product reviews, previews, and news on technology.

Founding

TechTree was started by ITNation India Pvt. Ltd. and founded by Pavan Sood and Rizwan Thakur .[citation needed] In mid-2008, ITNation was bought over by the UTV group.[2]

TechTree has been leased out to be managed by Trivone Digital Services Pvt. Ltd., a Bangalore-based startup, effective from April 2011, while Disney-UTV retains is ownership.

TV Show

After the UTV group acquisition of the parent company, a companion show, also called TechTree, was produced for UTVi (now Bloomberg UTV). The show originally aired on Thursdays at 10:30pm IST.

In September 2009, the show went on a season break.

The new, 'reboot' of TechTree commenced on 28 November 2009.
