Techno India University is a private University in Kolkata, West Bengal State of India.[1][2][3][4][5] It is the first private university in the Indian State of West Bengal formed by a state legislation.[4][6] Its campus is in Salt Lake. It was inaugurated on 7 August 2012, by Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee.[7][8]
Promoters
The University is promoted by Techno India Group, Kolkata, India, one of the leading education groups in the eastern part of India and the group also owns another private University called as Techno Global University situated in Shillong.[9]
