Taylor Wane (born August 27, 1968 in Gateshead, England) is the stage name of a British pornographic actress, director, and model. She was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2005 and the Legends of Erotica Hall of Fame in 2007.[2][3]
Career
Wane initially wanted to be a teacher.[4] However, at age 18, her mother entered her into a calendar girl competition, which she won.[4] This led to her wanting to become a model, and she was soon signed by an agency.[4] After moving to London, her career headed towards topless modelling.[4] She then moved to Los Angeles, where she spent over a year modelling for men's magazines, before entering the adult film industry at the age of around 21.[4] She was the Penthouse Pet of the Month Cover Girl and Centerfold in June 1994, and was published several times in Penthouse at later dates.[5]
