Tautvydas Šležas (born March 31, 1990 in Kaunas, Lithuania) is a professional Lithuanian basketball player.[1]

Career

Started his professional career 2006 in Tauragės Bremena-KTU (NKL) team, on 2008 signed with BC Lietuvos Rytas, as one of the most promising young players in Lithuania, but that year rarely step on the court for the team. Played two years for BC Lietuvos Rytas junior team - BC Perlas. On 2011 September 11 signed a one year contract with Juventus Utena (LKL) (BBL) club, with +1 team option for second year. On 2011 October 7, playing in his second game of the season, suffered very complicated ankle injury, which kept him out of the line-up for 4 months. He was unable to establish himself to the team again and after 7 games back from injury, team released him on 2012 January 31. Finished 2011-2012 season in (NKL) team Joniškio "Delikatesas", where he fully recovered from tough injury, and at the same time was putting very good numbers (17 pts., 11 reb., 5 asst. per) and performing at high level. After great season ending, signed with one of the top teams in Lithuania - BC Prienai.
