Tautahi Gold is one of the two Tongan rugby union teams for the Pacific Rugby Cup; the other team being Tau'uta Reds.
The home of the Tautahi Gold is the combination of Ha'apai, 'Eua and half of Tongatapu Town District. It was important to the Union to make a home for the two teams to provide a pathway for players into Tonga's national rugby team.
Name
Tautahi is the name of Tonga's traditional Navy Army. The reason behind using the Gold is the colours of the Sun which Tongans use as their navigational campus.
