Tatum Keshwar (born 14 December 1983 in Durban) is a South African fashion model of Indian[1] origin who was crowned Miss South Africa 2008 on 15 December 2008.[2]
Keshwar was one of the top ten finalists of Miss Universe 2009, finishing in 7th place. She also went on to represent South Africa in Miss World 2009, becoming second runner-up and Miss World Africa.
Early life
Prior to winning Miss South Africa she was a finalist on the third period of the reality modeling contest Revlon Supermodel, which was aired from November to December 2007 on SABC 3.
Keshwar attended Mowat Park Girls High and has a psychology degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and her hobbies and interests include yoga, modelling, reading and going to the gym as well as parasailing and abseiling.
Miss Universe 2009
Keshwar represented her country in Miss Universe 2009 in Nassau, Bahamas where she made the finals and placed 7th overall.
Miss World 2009
Keshwar placed among the top 12 at the Miss World Top Model fast-track event and became one of the Top 3 finalists during Miss World 2009 held on 12 December 2009 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
