Tasman Fracture

The Tasman Fracture is a 4 kilometer deep ocean trench off the south west coast of Tasmania.[1] It is also a marine reserve. It is part of the South-east Commonwealth Marine Reserve Network and lies west of the Tasmanian Seamounts Marine Reserve which is now known as the Huon Commonwealth Marine Reserve. They lie within the Tasmania Province of the Integrated Marine and Coastal Regionalisation of Australia.
