Tarun Chandra (Kannada: ತರುಣ್ ಚಂದ್ರ; born 27 April 1983), mononymously credited as Tarun, is an Indian film actor based in Kannada Film Industry. He made his film debut in the multi-starrer Khushi (2004) and has since then acted in various films, notably being, Geleya (2007), Love Guru (2008) and Gaana Bajaana (2010).

Early life

Tarun was born in Bangalore. He graduated his B.Com degree in MES College, Bangalore. He underwent three months acting course at Kishore Namit Acting Institute, Mumbai before he entered into films. He first appeared as a supporting actor in 2004 released film, Khushi. Later, he approached director Prashanth with his portfolio since the director was looking out for a new face launch for his movie Love Guru and got a break as a lead actor in the same film.[1] He had also acted in a Telugu film Valliddari Vayasu Padahare which was released in 2006.
