Tartano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 80 km northeast of Milan and about 15 km southwest of Sondrio. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 236 and an area of 47.6 km².[1]
Tartano borders the following municipalities: Albaredo per San Marco, Foppolo, Forcola, Fusine, Mezzoldo, Talamona, Valleve.
