Taqdeerwala
Taqdeerwala is a Bollywood movie released in may 5 1995 starring Telugu star Venkatesh and Raveena Tandon. Although a film with good storyline, it performed below average at the box office. This is a remake of Telugu Film Yamaleela.
Plot
Suraj (Venkatesh) is a fraud and his mother is disappointed with his behavior. Suraj comes to know about his mother's past and he swears to become rich and make his mother happy. Meanwhile in heaven, Yamraj and his assistant misplace a book called 'Bhavishyavaani' which has future of all people in it. The book somehow falls on the roof of Suraj's house. He benefits a lot by reading predictions of the future in the book. He becomes rich and Chota Ravan is surprised how Suraj became rich in short time. Yamraj (God of death) and his assistant reach Earth to search for the book. As they reach there, they find out that Suraj is spreading rumours of them being a theater company's characters. But as time goes on, Suraj realise that they are real Yamraaj & Chitragupt. He does not agree to return this book to anyone because the book predicts that his mother will die soon. But he feels guilty about keeping the book since it also affects the destiny of the whole world. With a lot reluctance , he returns the book to Yamraaj & Chitragupt. Lilly, who was a tomboy & hated Suraj,(although Suraj loved her like a mad) now has feelings of love for suraj. She apologizes to suraj & his mother & she marries & comes to their home. It ends with Yamraaj & Chitragupt eating HIMCREAM! & watching their marriage happily !
