Tanwei Station (Chinese: 坦尾站), formerly Datansha South Station (Chinese: 大坦沙南站)[1] and Datansha Station (Chinese: 大坦沙站) when planning,[2] is an elevated station of Guangzhou Metro Line 5 and an underground station on Line 6[3] in Guangzhou, China. It is located at Zhongshuangqiao Park (Chinese: 中双桥公园) on Datansha Island (Chinese: 大坦沙岛), Liwan District.[4] It opened on 28 December 2009.[5] It became an interchange station between Line 5 and Line 6 on 28 December 2013.[6]
