Tankcrimes is a record label owned and operated by Scotty Heath. It is located in Oakland, California, and focuses mainly on punk rock, grindcore and heavy metal on vinyl. Heath owns and operates Tankcrimes from his Oakland garage.[1] Notable bands to have releases on Tankcrimes include Ghoul, Cannabis Corpse, Municipal Waste, Toxic Holocaust, Agoraphobic Nosebleed and Vitamin X.[2][3] Tankcrimes released its first record in 2002. At this time, Tankcrimes was called Controlled by Plague.[3] Tankcrimes currently has over 60 releases.[2]
