Taniela Lasalo is an Australian born Tongan rugby league player for the Parramatta Eels in the NRL competition. He plays in the second-row or as a centre.
Rugby league career
2008: Early playing career
Lasalo was named in the Tongan squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup,
2009: First grade debut and NYC captaincy
Lasalo was named the Eels Toyota Cup captain for the 2009 season. He also made his NRL debut against the Cronulla Sharks in Round 11 2009.
2010-2012: Consistency in first grade
Lasalo played every game in the 2011 NRL season for the Eels, as well as re-signing with Parramatta until 2013.
2013: An injury plagued season
In the 2013 preseason, Lasalo injured his arm and was ruled out indefinitely for the 2013 season
