Tamoghna Ghosh is the State General Secretary of Trinamool Chhatra Parishad (TMCP). He completed his MBA and is presently pursuing his PGBDM.^{[citation needed]} He is one of the prominent student leaders of West Bengal, India.

He has been an ardent follower of prominent Trinamool Congress leaders, such as Mamata Banerjee, Somendra Nath Mitra, Sudip Bandyopadhyay, Swarnakamal Saha, and Mukul Roy.

He has been instrumental in snatching victory from SFI from colleges like Vidyasagar DAY, Vidyasagar MORNING, Surendranath College DAY, Surendranath College LAW, Surendranath College EVENING, Jaipuria College, Khudiram Bose College, Maharaja Srish Chandra College, Manindra Chandra College, Moulana Azad College, Calcutta Medical College, R.G. Kar Medical College, The Calcutta Technical School and many other colleges.
