Tamlaght, County Fermanagh

Tamlaght (from Irish Tamhlacht, meaning "plague burial place"[1]) is a village in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, 4 miles east of Enniskillen. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 276 people. It is situated in the townland of Ballintarsan in the Lisbellaw electoral ward which is part of the Fermanagh District Council area. It is part of the Derryvullan Civil Parish and St Michael's Catholic Parish which lie in the Diocese of Clogher.
People
Roy Carroll (born September 30, 1977 in Enniskillen) is a Northern Irish footballer and plays as a goalkeeper for Olympiakos. He was brought up in Tamlaght, Co Fermanagh.
