Tam Byrne

Tam Byrne, full name Tamas Byrne, (b. 12 September 1980) is Football Agent working for the Wasserman Media Group.

Career

Tam Byrne began his career as a footballer playing for Blackpool FC in England in 1997. In 2003 he joined sports marketing company IMG on work experience. He then did an internship at the Athlete Representation department at Octagon for 3 weeks. In 2004 he became an FA Licensed Player's Agent and set up Player First, a football representation company based in Cheshire. In 2005, Player First was taken over by SFX Sports Group which later was acquired by Wasserman Media Group in November 2006.

Personal

Away from football, Tam Byrne has also represented Great Britain at American Football. He was a member of the 2004 European Championship Winning GB Lions team. Tam Byrne is of Irish ancestry.
