Talya is a village (hobli) in the Holalkere taluk near Chitradurga district, Karnataka State, India.
The main attraction is an old temple of Lord Hanuman. According to historical sources, this is a very old temple that has the entire story of Ramayana carved near the tail portion of the Lord Hanuman's idol. In modern times, lunch homes and marriage halls have been built to conduct religious ceremonies.
Every year in April, "Mullavi" (Walk on thorns) and "Theru" (Procession of God on a wooden chariot) take place here as well. Devotees from neighbouring villages and districts gather to witness the event.
