Talmassons is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 60 km northwest of Trieste and about 15 km southwest of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,180 and an area of 43.0 km².[1]

The municipality of Talmassons contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Flambro, Flumignano, and Sant'Andrat.

Talmassons borders the following municipalities: Bertiolo, Castions di Strada, Lestizza, Mortegliano, Pocenia, Rivignano.
