Talkalakh District

Talkalakh District (Arabic: منطقة تلكلخ) is a district (mantiqah) of the Homs Governorate in Syria. At the 2004 Census it had a population of 129,429.[1] The centre of the district is the city of Talkalakh.

Divisions

The district of Talkalakh is divided into four sub-districts or Nāḥiyas (population according to 2004 official census):

  • Talkalakh nahiyah (ناحية تلكلخ): population 62,069.[2]
  • Hadidah nahiyah (ناحية حديدة): population 25,998.[3]
  • Al-Nasirah nahiyah (ناحية الناصرة): population 16,678.[4]
  • Al-Huwash nahiyah (ناحية الحواش): population 24,684.[5]
