Talheri Bujurg is a village in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, located 9 kilometers from Deoband. This village is one of the biggest village of this district. This Village is the residence of people following several religions and castes. under this big village there are some sub village around it like panyali, gandashpur, mayaheri, tajpur and some other. river kali also passes through mayaheri village, which later meets ganga and yamna. main sugarcare and wheat is grown in these villages but now farmers are showing interest in other small but profitable vegetables also like lady finger, lowki, tamato and farmers also triyng strawberry which is more profitable. people travel from these villages to work and study in some nearby bigger towns like saharpur, deoband, nagal, meerut etc.
The village lies on a state highway between the city SAHARANPUR AND MUZAFFARNAGAR.There are many dogs in this village.
This village was named after SHIVAM KUMAR TALHERI who was a great political reformer and caused development of this village from a very backward one to a moderate one.
