Taiwa (大和町 Taiwa-chō) is a town located in Kurokawa District, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 24,963 and a population density of 110.66 persons per km². The total area is 225.59 km². The biggest, and the central community among an old town and four old villages consolidated is Yoshioka.

The nearest bus stop is Yoshioka-eigyosho-mae(=Miyakou Bus Co., Ltd. Yoshioka Bus Depot) to go to Taiwa Town Office in Yoshioka.
- Intercity Highway bus bound for:
- Ōhira via Yoshioka, departing at bus stop #2 of the West Exit side Bus Terminal of JR Sendai station. For 40 or 45-munite ride. Seat reservation is not required in advance.
