The Taft Police Department (TFD) is the agency responsible for law enforcement within the City of Taft, California. The department contains 12 sworn officers, 13 civilian employees, and 11 volunteers. The headquarters is located at 320 Commerce Way. The department also operates the Taft Community Correctional Facility, a type 1 Jail. The facility contains 460 beds and houses inmates from the California Department of Corrections.[1]
