Tafresh University

Tafresh University (Persian: دانشگاه تفرش), formerly named Tafresh Amir Kabir University of Technology (taut) is an educational university located in Tafresh, Iran.[1] Now, about 3,000 students are studying in this university.

History
This university on June 23, 1987 (1366 دوم تیر ماه), by efforts of Dr. Gholamreza Heydari (founder), Dr. Parviz Noor Panah and Dr. Kabir Sadeghi[2][3] from Amir kabir University (Tehran Polytechnic) was established and Mir-Hossein Mousavi - Prime Minister - opened it. At the beginning, Tafresh University, was considered as one subset units of Amirkabir University of Technology.
