Taeun Couple (Korean: 태은) is a couple from the South Korean reality TV show We Got Married season 4. The husband is singer Lee Taemin, and the wife is singer and actress Na Eun. The couple's name Taeun was coined by combining the syllables of their first names, Tae from Taemin and Eun from Na Eun.
Overview
On April 17, 2013 was rumored that 'We Got Married's new couple will be formed from SHINee's Taemin and A Pink's Na Eun.[1] On April 18 both Cube Entertainment and SM Entertainment has confirmed that Taemin and Na Eun will be the new couple on WGM.[2]
Their first recording took place at a cafe made famous by the movie Architecture 101 and at a water park on Jeju Island.[3]
On April 17, We Got Married PD reveals his reasons for why were Taemin and Na Eun cast as an new couple, he said: We were looking for a new on-screen couple who'd give off the vibe of a first love. We interviewed various celebrities, but out of them, Taemin and Na Eun who hardly have any dating experience, seemed the most suited, and they also have a lot of things in common." "Specifically, when they were discussing the topic of love, Taemin talked about his elementary school days while Na Eun talked about her kindergarten days... They met during the first filming and exuded an innocent and fresh vibe. We ask that the viewers also watch over the new on-screen couple of Taemin and Na Eun with love."[4]
On June 7 was released the first photos from Taeun's first photoshoot together. They ended their virtual marriage at early January of 2014.
