Tabrizi köfte,Kofta (Koufteh) Tabrizi is an Iranian-Azerbaijani recipe for big meat balls from north west of Iran from the city of Tabriz. The ingredients are ground beef, rice, yellow split peas, leeks, mint, parsley, onion and Iranian spices. The word kofta is derived from Persian kūfta: in Persian, kuftan (کوفتن) means "to beat" or "to grind".[1]
