Synoplotherium (also known as "Dromocyon") is an extinct genus of relatively small, wolf-like mesonychids that lived 50 million years ago, in what is now Wyoming.[1]

Synoplotherium was related to, coexisted, and possibly competed with the larger Mesonyx.
