Synodontis lucipinnis is a species of upside-down catfish endemic to the Zambian waters of Lake Tanganyika. This species grows to a length of 3.5 inches (8.9 cm) SL. This fish is commonly mislabeled as Synodontis petricola in many fish shops. In aquariums, this species requires at least 20 gallons for a group.
