Synodontis dorsomaculata is a species of upside-down catfish endemic to the Democratic Republic of the Congo where it occurs in the Lukusi and upper Lualaba Rivers and the Upemba lakes. This species grows to a length of 13.7 centimetres (5.4 in) TL.
