Sylvester Uphus

Sylvester Uphus (born December 12, 1929) is an American farmer and politician.

From a farm near Greenwald, Minnesota, Uphus served in the United States Navy during World War II. He went to the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University. He was a farmer. He served in township government. He served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1983 to 1992 as a Republican. He lived in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. His nephew was Steve Dehler who also served in the Minnesota Legislature.[1][2]
