Sylt is a municipality on the island of Sylt in the district of Nordfriesland, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
Overview
It was formed on 1 January 2009 by the merger of the former municipalities Rantum and Sylt-Ost with the town of Westerland.
Sylt Air has its head office in Terminal 2 of Sylt Airport.[2]
