Kasimkhan Zainuddin

Syedna Kasimkhan Zainuddin [1] (death: 9th Shawwal-ul-Mukarram 1054 AH/ 1646AD ), Ahmedabad, India) was the 31st Da'i al-Mutlaq (Absolute Missionary) of the Dawoodi Bohra sect of Musta‘lī Islam. He succeeded, the 30 th Dai Syedna Ali Shamshuddin to the religious post.

Syedna Kasimkhan Zainuddin became Da'i al-Mutlaq in 1042AH [2] /1567AD. His period of Dawat was from 1042-1054 AH (1634-1646 AD) (12 Years and 6 Months).

Syedi Hasan Feer had dedicated his life in serving dawat and strengthening the faith of the Dawoodi Bohra. Allah, the Almighty requited that devotion by bestowing the esteemed honor to one of his lineage to become a Dai. Syedna QasimKhan Zainuddin (R.A) is from 'Nassal'(lineage) of 5th wali- ul -Hind Syedi Moulai Hasan Fir Shaheed (Q.S.).

Syedna Qasim Khan Zainuddin has served 5 Dais including Syedna Dawood bin AjabShah, Syedna Dawood Bin Qutubshah, and Syedna Sheikh Aadam Safiuddin and was trusted aide. He sent his associates around India to spread the word of Dawat.

Syedna Qutubuddin Shaheed was his trusted aide, he always turned to him for advice and appointed him the next the 32nd Dai.[3]
