Imam Syed Nazeer Husain (1805-1901) was one of the most important figures in Islamic religious leaders in India.
Biography
He was born in Mongyr (Bihar). He was the student of Shah Mohammad Ishaq Dehlawi and his students are numerous Islamic scholars and leaders. He died at Delhi. Imam Shams-ul-haq Azeemabadi, Moulana Fazl Husain Muzaffarpuri, and Mohammad Tanzeel-al-siddiqi al-husaini have written the life sketches of Imam Syed Nazeer Husain.
