Sycewice [sɨt͡sɛˈvit͡sɛ] (German Zitzewitz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kobylnica, within Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) west of Kobylnica, 12 km (7 mi) south-west of Słupsk, and 116 km (72 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Before 1648 the area was part of Duchy of Pomerania, 1648-1945 Prussia and Germany. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
