Swasthik (Kannada : ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿಕ್) is a 1999 Kannada Terrorism Thriller movie directed by the Kannada Film Industry's Veteran director Upendra, starring Raghavendra Rajkumar, Vijayalakshmi and Srinath in lead roles. Taking a plot with terrorism as its core, it narrates the story of an Indian raised by Pakistani parents living in India, who are later revealed to be terrorists. The movie is still remembered for its smart narration and innovative screenplay and is considered to be one of the best works of Upendra with respect to screenplay. The soundtrack numbers Idu Yelelu Janumada love and colour colour became huge hits. The film has attained cult classic status in the following years.
Plot

Box Office
It was not received as well as Upendra's other movies and the movie was just a mere hit, as Terrorism was not well known among the people of South India at that time, and the movie was much ahead of its time. But it is still remembered for its smart narration and innovative screenplay and is considered to be one of the best works of Upendra. The film has attained cult classic status in the following years.
