Swainton is an unincorporated area in Cape May County, New Jersey. It is part of the Ocean City metropolitan area.[2] U.S. Route 9 and the Garden State Parkway are major roads of Swainton. Avalon is the coastal town directly across from Swainton, connected by Avalon Boulevard. Swainton is home to Sand Barrens Golf Club, located on U.S. Route 9.
