Sverre Hjelle Økland (born 19 June 1993) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Kristiansund. He played for Aalesund and Løv-Ham before he joined Kristiansund ahead of the 2012 season.

Club career

Økland was born in Ålesund.[1] Økland made his debut for Aalesunds FK on 20 June 2009 against Rosenborg, they lost the game 3-0. Økland became the youngest player to play in Tippeligaen, he was 16 years and one day.

Økland was loaned out to Løv-Ham in 2011, he just made two games.

Before the 2012 season he signed a contract with Kristiansund.
