Sven Barthel

Sven Kristian Barthel (8 September 1903 – 30 September 1991[1]) was a Swedish writer, journalist, theatre critic and translator. He married author Viveka Starfeldt in 1936.

He was a good narrator of nature with special interest in Stockholm's archipelago.[2]

As a translator he translated among other works Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck.
