Susan Varley

Susan Varley is an illustrator of several children's books, including The Monster Bed.^[1]

Biography

Susan Varley was born in 1961 in Blackpool, England. She studied graphic design and illustration at Manchester Polytechnic, and illustrated Badger's Parting Gifts. She won the Mother Goose Award in 1985 for the "most exciting newcomer to British children's book illustration."^[1] Most of her illustrations are for Andersen Press.^[2]
