Sura K'uchu (Aymara sura dry jiquima, a species of Pachyrhizus[1] k'uchu angle,[2] "sura angle", hispanicized spelling Sora Khucho) is a mountain in the Andes, about 5,333 m (17,497 ft) high, situated in the Cordillera Occidental on the border of Bolivia and Chile. It is located in the Arica and Parinacota Region of Chile and in the Oruro Department of Bolivia, in the Sajama Province, Turku Municipality, Chachakumani Canton, south of the Uqi Uqini volcano and north of the Umurata.[3] Sura K'uchu lies south of National Route 4 near the Chungara-Tambo Quemado pass.
